Wikipedia Controversy Indicator
The Wikipedia Controversy indicator is a tool that shows which Wikipedia templates are associated with articles.
Wikipedia templates are banners published on a disputed article, and describe what is wrong with it (e.g. when an article is written like an advertisement, or unreferenced).
First, a list of templates was created and controversy-related templates were filtered out. The list includes: template name, image, description and url of the template-article on Wikipedia.

One example from the dataset is the conflict of interest template (COI):
The
Wikipedia Controversy Indicator shows the active templates and is able to create a list of articles per template, and a list of templates per contested article.
This project was initiated during the
Summer School 09: Wikipedia as a Space of Controversy, 6-10 July 2009. The tool was further developed during the 2010 Winter School, 20-22 January 2010.
